Who are your musical influences?
There are quite a few for me, but all for different reasons. Adele, Elton John and (Bernie Taupin), Billy Joel, Amy Winehouse and Etta James. Each of these artists have played a massive part in my music and songwriting world. Each of them inspire me in a different way.
Favourite line from a song?
I wouldn’t be able to just pick one because there are too many to choose from, but Wicked Games by Chris isaak song that is written so beautifully and is filled with lyrics that other people have always been able to relate to in the midst of heartbreak, that’s what I like the most about song lyrics.
What instruments do you play?
I play guitar and piano.
Do you write your own songs?
Yes. I’ve written my own songs for a long time. It’s taken me a little bit of time but I will finally be releasing a recorded original next year.
If you could play any gig or venue, where would that be?
Playing for any popular radio show in Australia, but if I had to choose a venue it would definitely be the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. That place with a fully packed crowd is just amazing.
