- What first got you into music? And who inspired you to make music?
My family would say I sung before I could talk, my grandma who recently passed used to sit and teach me the piano and how to sing opera since I was little. She inspired me to start music. I had quite the career when I was younger having released my first cd at 11, I recorded my first ep at 14 but life took a different turn for me at 16 and I became a mum and I took the next 12 years off music publicly to open a business to support my young family and only picked up the guitar again 3 years ago. - What is it about music that makes you feel passionate?
Music is its own universal language. It’s a beautifully delicate way of expressing ourselves and connecting with others where words cannot. Music got me through some of the darkest times of my life and also some of the happiest. - What is the best piece of advice another musician has ever given to you?
The best advice I’ve ever been given is, to always stay true to your authentic self, write from the heart and your music will naturally find where it’s meant to be. - Who’s your dream musician to collaborate with and why?
Oh this one is easy. Stevie Nicks! Gosh, she has always been an inspiration to me – a force to be reckoned with and it would be a dream come true to collaborate on a song with her or even just share the same stage. I love her so much I even incorporated her into one of my songs I wrote in 2021. - Do you write your own music? Where can we find your music?
Yes I do, I have a catalogue of original music I am yet to have produced. I do have some of them on social media (Facebook & Instagram) but hopefully will have some music on Spotify within the next couple of months.
